Full Marathon

The full marathon is a fully certified Boston qualifier ON-2006-097-BDC. The course is a dual loop covering numerous streets from the downtown core, through New Sudbury and back via Minnow Lake. The terrain is flat to rolling with a few small hills. The Route would be considered fast.

Marathon Walk: 6:00 AM start. All course markings and pylons will be in place but full policing and marshaling will not be available until 7:45 AM. Official time limit is 7 hours. If walkers are on the course after that time or after the pylons are removed they must move to the sidewalks.

Marathon Run: 8:00 AM mass start. Official time limit is 6 hours. If runners are on the course after that time or after the pylons are removed they must move to the sidewalks.

General Information: Water/Sports Drink stations and porta potties are located approximately every 2 km.

Marathon Masters Division (40+) Note: Only 1 Award per Participant

  • Male  $125  Female $125

Marathon Relay

  • Plaques for winning team

Medals for all Marathon finishers and special placing medals for age group winners and placers

(1st, 2nd and 3rd place Male and Female finishers for the following age categories: 19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70+)
